தக்கை

takkai   n. cf. டக்கா. 1. A kind ofdrum, one of the three akappuṟa-muḻavu, q.v. அகப்புறமுழவு மூன்றனுள் ஒன்றாகிய ஒருவகைப் பறை (பிங்.) (சிலப். 3, 26, உரை ) 2. Drum; பறை (சூடா.)

தக்கை போட, -வைக்க, to insert a plug into the hole made in the ear to widen it.
